laugh real loud
in your
skin tight
dress

the one cut real low
in the back
in the shape
of an obtuse
triangle;
jarring contrast to your
scared-straight spine
but you still
manage to
slouch.

make sure they know
you are having
a real great time:
show your teeth,
let them snap that
hearty guffaw
you let slip from your
imagination.
your lips are stretched
to the limits
like your
social apathy.
show your full moon eyes:
unblinking, wide
and hide.

hold your tonic like a
wand reigning
over your brain
that you gaze
absentmindedly,
creating ideas you
will never execute,
or say.
fall asleep
inside of yourself
in the middle of
everything.

later, they will show you
photographs to prove
you were
there.
