climbing mountains with
shifty, putrefacted wooden
ladders

Look out!

mudslides and splinters,
ice slicks and slick hidden cats the size of your doubts,
strange terrain sprinkled with rolling loose pebbles,
redacted amends,
tanks line the cliffs,
birds mourning their nests and your hair coming undone from it’s bun,
sudden shifting of Earth,
loosely worn words,
garments and Gods,
shouting at your palms
–-and most apparent to all–
several hundred
(thousand trillion)
internal

uphill battles.
